The Geiger Institute is a non-profit with the goal of decreasing the number of domestic homicides in the United States. They are in the process of building a software called IMPACT to be used by law enforcement and case workers to help achieve this goal. I was tasked with designing the logo for this software. After multiple rounds we narrowed in on having a strong connection to the parent logo of the Institute, using the orange dots but in a new and meaningful way. The purple color chosen is taken from the original non-profit that started it all: the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center — a local organization helping women and children victims of domestic violence.
